The stay & play sessions are £1 per family & Saturday Club is £1.50 per family. There may be additional charges for outside visitors e.g. circus skills workshop

Stay & Play, first time mums group & young parents group are all a drop in basis. Saturday Club & school holiday activities are pre bookable; this is to ensure we have the correct amount of resources & food for everyone.

We offer support to families, primarily, with children aged 0-5 yrs.

We do this in a number of ways – the health team use the Centre to provide ante natal & post natal groups & two baby weigh in clinics a week.

We offer various groups for parents to attend with their children (please see timetable) & also a parent group 'Parent Puzzle' for parents to attend on their own.

We also offer individual family support, this is tailored to whatever needs any particular family might have e.g. support after having a baby, support with setting boundaries etc. Please call the Centre to discuss this further if this is what you require.

Jane Perry & Justine Slaney both have the NNEB qualification & Shirley Wales has a City & Guilds Caring For Children 0-7yrs qualification (equivalent to NNEB). All three have completed a variety of additional training, to further their skills & knowledge.

Definitely. We encourage parents to pop by & see the Centre. We have lots of information & leaflets on offer for parents. We also have an internet kiosk, which is available to use, free of charge. This kiosk allows parents to access information from Surrey County Council, Job Centre Plus, Family Information service plus many more sites.

At the Stay & Play sessions we provide activities such as painting, sticking, icing cakes, planting seeds, play dough. As well as books, dressing up, bricks & push along toys. The activities are varied & are usually tied in with a theme e.g. Pancake Day, spring, mother’s day etc.

During the school holidays we provide activities that are suitable for older siblings to join in with e.g. family picnic, circus skills workshop, and Easter egg hunt.

All activities are planned & co coordinated to meet the Early Years Framework Study (EYFS).

Yes. All three members of staff have years of experience & knowledge, as well as professional training background.

If we are unable to answer your question we have a variety of information books at The Centre & access to the internet.

Most definitely. We run two childminder groups a week, one in The Haven Centre & the other at The Jurgen Centre, Englefield Green. Registered childminders & professional nannies are welcome to come along to any of these groups. We offer on going support, advice & resources.

We also work in partnership with local nurseries, pre school groups & the NCT.
